This newly designed alternative to US POSTAL 1046 hamper has already been used in many Post Office applications across the country. The unit combines slanted steel side rods with a flat steel reinforced northern hardwood base to provide maximum strength.The unit is equipped with 6 hard rubber Post Office specified casters. The casters are arranged in the Postal 6 caster pattern and feature 1/8" steel plate to provide maximum load bearing capacities. Durable canvas liners provide optimum abrasion resistance. Liners are field replaceable. The 18 Bu. 1046 measures 43-1/2"L x 31-1/2"W x 37"H outside. Platform plywood kit available (N1019735). Kit includes hardware, shock cords, and platform. Liners need to be laced on and platforms are installed by customer. Colored vinyl-coated nylon also available at same price.
